Ex inspection for hazardous areas in Scotland

Under DSEAR, if your site has zoned areas you need to show the equipment in them is suitable and kept that way. Our inspections give you that evidence, item by item.

BS EN IEC 60079-17DSEARGas & dust zones

What an inspection covers

We check each piece of Ex equipment against its certificate and the zone it's installed in: protection concept, gas group, temperature class and protection level. Then we look at its condition: enclosure damage, flamepaths, bolts, cable glands, seals, earthing and anything that has been changed since it was installed.

Faults are recorded with the tag number, a photo and a severity, so your maintenance team knows what to fix first.
